You have to listen carefully to the etymological choices of Dr. Umar Johnson as opposed to listening to the phonetic rhythm of his speaking. He is an entertaining and thoughtful speaker. Some of the statements he makes are true. However, there is much of what he says that is based on assumptions that we quietly let pass by our thoughtful critiques that are warranted. There is nothing wrong with questioning Johnson or anyone else who claims to speak as an activist for African Americans. He is right about President Obama. Obama did very little for African Americans. That is true. Yet, the adversarial opinions he has about interracial relationships, and his explanations for some social ills in education are not correct, but conjecture. I believe in God. If you can tell me that God, who created this universe, meant for races of people to be separate, then I know you are not a spiritual human being in the way that God has intended. Jesus is going to come down to earth to tell blacks and whites not to integrate or have relations with each other? It is ridiculous when you recite it back to yourself. What I like about Dr Umar Johnson is that he strongly encourages black people to read and know their African and black history. It is a must! We must know black history from around the world in order for us to be strong. And do not be fooled here. Johnson is selling books with his words, too. Just like Oprah Winfrey, Tariq Nasheed, Dr Eric Dyson, and others.

Dr Umar is DEFINITELY INTELLIGENT….but the beef between him and Tariq came from one point….When Tariq said since he invited Dr Umar in on his HIDDEN COLORS DOCUMENTARIES, he been hearing or heard Dr Umar say or saying that Tariq should of paid him more for his involvement because that is what made HIDDEN COLORS famously known. I'm not pointing fingers or blaming,but if that's true,then we now understand the beef at some point. Or maybe Dr Umar was kind of Under paid..Then shortly after,Tariq said Dr Umar continued to talk down on him numerous times…Then later on again,I think someone asked Tariq about Dr Umars FDMG school money and about do he really have a Psycology license or is he a Psychologist,or do he really have degrees or etc…and I think Tariq said that that school money is gone..lol, responded in a joking matter and Dr Umar saw the video….and that's where the social media beef came to start…so,in reality,it does need to be squashed.,..PROFESSIONALLY and just both Apologize and move on!
Dr. Umar is 100% correct. Black people need to get more logical about our survival. It's not about whether or not you like the person. If you have a brotha or sista who's sincere about black empowerment, you're suppose to assist that person or move out the way and keep silent. Dr. Umar is a real one!
Why has it taken him so long to build a school? Why is he so defensive when asked about the money? Sure he hasn't met the goal but he could start small. There are people who have schools already and have not asked for the amount of money as Dr Umar i.e Marcus Kline in chicago. Support him

We just need to speak from the heart :D. People resonate with Love, not some structured intelligence. Even if you were a scholar, let your qualifications take second place to your heart and speak from the depths of the soul.
