Desegregation killed black wall street not the KKK.
The terrorist attack did not destroy black wall street, lack of a military, nor did a lack of political power. Desegregation and integration did.
Within five years after the massacre, surviving residents who chose to remain in Tulsa rebuilt much of the district. They accomplished this despite the opposition of many white Tulsa political and business leaders and punitive rezoning laws enacted to prevent reconstruction. It resumed being a vital black community until segregation was overturned by the Federal Government during the 1950s and 1960s. Desegregation encouraged blacks to live and shop elsewhere in the city, causing Greenwood to lose much of its original vitality. Since then, city leaders have attempted to encourage other economic development activity nearby.

The liberal implementation of a welfare state is what decimated black communities, all the suffering, slavery, persecution that black people endured since and prior to the end of the civil war and all their advances into prosperity were dashed against the wall by the welfare state. It encourages families to break up, discourages work, perpetuates dependency and worst of all it makes blacks dependent on the state. The kkk and the US government definitely did their part tho with the tusla Oklahoma travesty.. Desegregation imo along with the civil rights act and welfare crushed the so called blacc community.
