53.30 – That is true Garvey did adopt Booker T Washington's ideology of self-reliance, group-economics and establishing economic capital prior obtaining political capita. However, Garvey was a lot more radical than Booker T Washington. Garvey had implemented Hubert Harison's nationalistic motions and admixed them with Booker T. Washington's beliefs.

As a Black nationalist, I am proud to those who acknowledge Booker T Washington, Martin Delany, Marcus Garvey, and Dr Tony Martin's influence. I am currently reading Dr Tony Martin's book, Race First and it's fantastic. Black First!

what is the point of all this?
Black people don't care about all this. maybe there is some kind of following in the USA that sustains these venerable scholars whom I regard as the best Black people have to offer as human beings. but I don't see that Black people care at all. that is why after 150 years of tremendous, sophisticated activism things are wore than ever.

Today I saw in Sputnik news that the new leader of Zimbabwe is begun to give Zimbabwe land back to the white farmers. that is stunning news, terrible new, a catastrophic development. but he is a traitor..which is why Mugabe fired him and precipitated the coup. now he is getting into his traitorous program and it looks like a doozy

this development made me look at my life. the question begged on its own…why am I on my small level activist, or pro-active, looking for social change from the ground up?

on experience it is not logical because my experience tells me that Black people are not interested in their past, are in love with the white skin and intend to be subservient to it as long as it is there to be obeyed and to serve it. and all Black people who are against that will feel their wrath. and while there appears to be some fight among americans I can assure you that in the west indies, in Canada and in Africa there is very little opposition to white domination. and the same appears to obtain in the UK.

I also asked myself the question today…it occurred tome in fact: how many Black people I knew and met in my life who were aware of our story, cared to know and were COMMITTED TO THE INTERESTS OF OUR ETHNIC GROUP OF THE HUMAN SPECIES? and honestly I don't know any at all, never met one.

I once met Darcus Howe, who was based in Britain and I was totally unimpressed. I met Tim Hector a west Indian Activist and was also unimpressed. I know tons of Black people from allover the world, and there is not one of them who I can safely claim to be anything but what I have described Black people to be

Black people are simply not interested at this point in time..and we are losing out. but not even that fact energizes us to become Black and solve Black problems of survival.
