And I'm not an advocate for nothing but black love but I know this for a fact if President Obama was raised by single black mother here in America he would never have become president… He would have died in the projects or was in jail a long time ago so what does that say? The black woman produces Negroes preachers and pimps everything that she likes.
Itsfunneh Miss Ali was correct and the women in the crowd can't keep their legs closed or their mouth closed… Their whole argument is that they want a chance to put their boot on a black man's neck as white Society does there better feminists than white women but the difference is white women mean it for a political view black women really mean it personally. And it is so so embarrassing.
They took the point and completely twisted it. The greatest weapon used against us as a people was the Willie lynch letter. It was said when that letter was written that it would work perfectly. Here we are 100 years later and this is still working on the minds of black folks. I think it's sad that they don't understand her.
I noticed while watching the videos, I noticed that Sally showed certain parts of the book that people would find controversial, and when she speaks to break down why she says it…it was taken better. I don't agree, with the slapping in the mouth, but I do believe that we as men and women should take a look at ourselves and see why is it that we can't get along. This video only showed and discussed what they thought would make better TV, and when you really listened to Mrs. Ali…it just made perfect sense
And 28 years later, we are still allowing outsiders to dictate how this Phantom Black Man is oppressing our Black Women and drumming up these disingenuous platitudes.
She is trying to unify blacks and create stability. Once that’s done there is economic and social improvement. But black people are so deluded in the idea of whites will save them and how black women don’t need to take account of their actions that they are willing to side with the disrespectful white host. Black women are the real problem any time they are checked for their mistakes they want to hide behind white supremacy for help. Shahrazad Ali is not bashing black women she is calling them out on the bs they are doing.
It's sad man, the book is right! Everybody wants our head even our women, shit I just work on my craft nowadays cause whether anybody wants to admit it black man are doomed In the U.S!!!! Western black women aren't the only black women on earth. Us black men have to be selfish with their time and get ourselves right and leave the U.S period!!!
Proven Results: 1990 more marriages between couples were higher…….it’s now 2017…….and a lot of black women are not gettting married now……..when will our black women listen……..
The problem I see here is that Sally was trying to be nice and politically correct that she could not moderate the meeting to a meaningful discourse. Her role was not to defend the black woman but to facilitate a constructive discussion on the most important issue confronting the Black community. Granted, Ms Ali used some highly flammable sentences but it only shows her passion. The forum was an opportunity for people to ask her questions to explain some of the hard things in the book. But as if to prove her right, most of the women that spoke exhibited the very characters she's up in arms against. You could easily see the anger, the bitterness in their voices and on their faces, and these they unleash on their husbands. Again, Ms Ali took a very intellectual approach to the subject matter; what that means is that not all the things in the book should be taken literally. For instance, 'slap her in the mouth', should be taken figuratively, after all, she knows it's against the law to lay hands on anyone. This is a very important book, at least, it sets an agenda for a fruitful discussion about the problems in the Black community.
7:52 is exactly how many black women are in relationships. Instead of "I have the mic", they say "I have the power", "this my house", etc. Very disrespectful and won't listen.
They thought submissive meant physical.
Ali meant respect and loyalty and faithful
5:40 = "Put Isaac Hayes on!"
What does this white guy has to do with the dysfunction of black women.
Not one person has been able to really dispute anything that she has said. Objecting to the truth doesn't make the truth any less the truth.

I am not ashamed to say that sis Shahrazad Ali was right. and married a white man is another excuse for a black woman not to submit to a black man.
some gorgeous young black women in the audience… won't how they look now
She could have taken OUT the line about hitting a women in the mouth and THE BLACK WOMEN still would have rejected it.
Sister Ali was on point then….. and it foreshadowed what's going on now and the "sisterhood" is as Stubborn and Butthurt as ever.
