Our speakers have years of experience in their fields and because this is their lively hood, they must be compensated, so please DONATE! Our goal for this project is to reawaken efforts to heal the racial divide, and empower the Black community to take care of itself! We believe it starts with awareness.
During the course of these seminars, “REAL HISTORY” will be exposed. Reminding some and educating others to the sacrifices our ancestors made in the past, and the cumulative efforts that have us where we are today. In the final week, we’ll unveil a National Plan that can be utilized to rebuild the Black Community, and create real lasting jobs! Your support in these efforts is so greatly needed, please Donate!
These planned events will take place during Black History Month 2015, in Fort Lauderdale Florida, facilitated by Fort Lauderdale Community Center, www.flccenter.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to awareness and solutions to systemic issues facing the Black-African Community will present its four week series, "Healing the Racial Divide."
This series will have several components; in the keeping of venues most comfortable to our speakers we’re in the process of securing space with a major South Florida University to host Tim Wise and Jane Elliott to address our White Brothers and Sisters. If we can change their perceptions of Black people early, the results can be life changing for both groups. Fortunately, Tim and Jane know how to break the shell of denial that often plagues white people.
Our targeted groups for the Black empowerment classes are the unemployed, the main reason we want admission to be free. Right now in this country’s white unemployment is returning to normal, under 6%; while black unemployment remains sky high, something like 38% for teens and 13% for adults. SO WE NEED OUR WHITE BROTHERS AND SISTERS TO COME TO THE TABLE WITH A CHECK. If you’re employed, make a small donation! It would greatly be appreciated!
We’re bringing Dr. Claud Anderson and others to speak on real history and motivating us toward true empowerment. Claud Anderson has a National Plan he has begun implementing in other cities across the country. He has started the process of rebuilding black communities. His plan starts with an economic base and builds from there. He has devised several small business plans that can be launched with little or no money.

Yeah it sounds good, but what to our people in the past that tried to make it and what was done to them in the process. It's like everything we try to do for ourselves them motherfuckers keep taken without any type of repercussions. The law is against us the government is against us, what more can we do?
