Dr Ivan Van Sertima (Late) was a Guyanese born Poet linguist and Historian. He ascended the ladder thru talent persistence and education and convinced the US Congress to remove the word ‘discovered’ from the Christopher Columbus account of the Europeans coming to the Americas.
He individually and through also collaboration with other historians to teach realities of African achievements in construction, sailing, trade global travel in ancient times.
