My 3 pillars of black economic empowerment are (1) we must educate our own children, (2) we must create our own jobs and (3) we must support our own businesses.

Escaping the Corporate Plantation and creating a job for yourself is a great start and I want to help you get there.

It is excited to see us creating jobs for ourselves through entrepreneurship.

But 95% of Black owned businesses are still sole proprietorships which have no paid employees.

Although Boyce Watkins Enterprises employs over 30 intelligent brothers and sisters today, it took my brother and I almost 6 years running as sole proprietors before we were able to hire our first employee.

And I want to short-cut this process for you by giving you the secrets for your businesses to scale and create jobs for others.

It’s time to raise the B.A.R.. Your business needs these 3 elements to grow.

1. A strong BRAND

2. A rabid AUDIENCE

3. And recurring REVENUE

I’m tired of seeing brothers and sisters struggle to build their businesses.

That’s why I’m creating a 3-part masterclass called The Emancipation Equation 2: The Entrepreneurship Edition.

Joining me are two successful entrepreneurs, Lamar Tyler and Jullien Gordon, who I’ve personally relied upon to help grow my business.

We are planning to retail this as a digital class in the Black Business School for $149, but because I want you all to succeed, I am going to let you preview the entire class live for FREE here:

https://theemancipationequation.com

But this is only if you can make it live

During this 3-part webinar series, we will show you:

1. HOW TO BUILD A BRAND THAT ATTRACTS YOUR IDEAL CLIENTS
with Dr. Boyce Watkins

2. HOW TO BUILD AN AUDIENCE & EMAIL LIST USING SOCIAL MEDIA
with Lamar Tyler

3. HOW TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS & RECURRING REVENUE
with Jullien Gordon

Zoom has attendee limits, so make sure you sign up now and arrive early.

Dr Anderson's books are out there family. I love all of his books but Black Labor White Wealth should be required reading for all black people.

Tracey Tatum says:

What we need is COMMUNITY GROUP EFFORT AND STRUCTURE—-Lots of us don't know where or how to start—-don't need money to walk groups of children to school—or cut an elders lawn—growing up our family went to our elder relatives homes and cleaned–cut yards—feed live stock–cooked a pot of beans or stew for the week-oh and of course a pan of corn bread–now we are afraid to break a damn nail but don't know how to grow a garden to feed ourselves

TrichsRUs says:

Real og he signed my book.

TrichsRUs says:

At the end of the day, there is only “white” and “non-white”. Everything else is confusion and deception.

3RDLABEL/PNOMUSICGROUP says:

Thanks dr Boyce

L. Chill T. says:

Very informative, i like what he is saying, i will be honest, some young black men today, are out of control, Sorry if i want my son to educate himself and do something with his life, whats wrong with parents promoting positivity…so i disgree with the one thing he said about black parents tell their children to go to college and go get a job in white corporate world…Here is an example of what i say in my home . For one some white people think that some black young men are criminals they are lazy they do not want anything, but on the flip side i work with some doctors who kids come from money and doing the same crap they claim black young men are doing…their young adults are just as out of control but the media show mostly young black men…so yes i want my son to do great, and not end up not doing nothing but getting high, and no education

Last Greatest says:

I disagree that we are powerless .
We have the three most powerful weapons to overcome the Oppressor.
# 1 God
# 2 The Spirit of God in Us.
# 3 Stop giving White people our Money.
Peace and Love.

Great Collaboration of 2 Great Minds. Keep up the good work educating everyone!

Hayden M. says:

I support you Dr. Claud Anderson

Hayden M. says:

Black people need to boycott ALL black celebrities. Period. Don’t buy their music, products or watch their movies. If they can’t support our leaders like Dr. Claud Anderson, & Dr.Umar then why should we support them? The world just laughs and watches as we continually get our ass whipped by every single culture, rich or poor. WE ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF EVERYONE!!! Are we too arrogant or hopeless to even be embarrassed? I just donated, did you?

Black men we have to fix this or we will continue to get bullied by the world. Its not the woman job to be the gatekeeper of the black community, we got too comfortable with doing nothing.

pamdfos says:

Dr Claude is a jewel to the African diaspora.

Tyronne Ratcliff says:

The secret to creating generational wealth is by leveraging other people's time, energy, effort, resources and money. That's what white people have been doing over the centuries (ethically and unethically). Trading your time for money will never make you rich. You must shift from being an employee/small business owner to a big business owner/investor. That's how you create real wealth. Awesome interview by the way!

Marcus Sandiford says:

Another great discussion with Dr. Anderson. Looking forward to seeing you both in NY this summer.

Quick side bar re your belief that Jay Z has evolved. I agree this could be true but we're here in Brooklyn and have seen no evidence of it – yet. Most see what you previously described as his false flag involvement with the Barclays Center and The Nets as a betrayal to the black community. We supported the project in the belief that a black co-owner would make the wealthy developers honor the commitments they made to the black community. He did not. White homeowners and businesses were treated well – many became millionaires. But, black business and home owners till this day are still fighting for a place to live.

It would mean a lot to the Black families and business owners in Brooklyn who all support you if you could have Jay Z (by way of the Beyoncé's management that you said you are acquainted with) contact this family: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/134/287/724/forest-city-ratner-release-the-campbell-familys-property-and-relocate-them-immediately./#updated

Thank you!

Kory Quan says:

Great video. Had my notebook out the whole time jotting down notes to apply to my everyday life.

Frenchyk757 says:

Dr. Claud Anderson is dropping MAJOR GEMS right now!!

Mustafa Rasul Al-Amin says:

When we educate our own children, what curriculum do we use? Most so-called "African-Centered" schools and teachers still operate like the White Supremacists in Black-face. What do we teach different?

Frederick Wells says:

Black leaders? With all due respect Dr. Anderson, let's start referring to these WEAK, INCOMPETENT MORONS for what they really are………"MISLEADERS!!!"
