People I have experienced the power of God in the name of Jesus Christ, what this man is teaching is of the devil. 2 Corinthians 4: 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Are Christians denying this because of the fear of it being true? Or the fear of God sending them to that place they call hell? I'm trying to figure our what it is….I was brought up in the christian church and family but was always skeptical, even as a child, because I was always confused. As I grew into an adult and hearing/ knowing all the stories, I knew that it couldn't be accurate. Now that I've freed myself from the religious form of thinking my family is still stuck it after being presented the same information that's in this video. Its like they're are so afraid to think for themselves… they always have to find a bible verse to debate with you instead of there own thinking.
Faith without work is just wishful thinking relying on randomed chance. It is positive to have faith and hope when it's combined with actions taken . Example : You are told that there will be an upcoming exam. Your first thought is to hope to past the exam before having done any preparation for it. You have done the work of preparing for the exam , and you have taken the action of taking the exam. Now based on how well you felt prepared during the exam will determine your faith in passing it. If you felt unprepared for the exam then you will be back at the hoping stage before the exam , but if you felt prepared for the exam then you will have faith that you past .
Hoping is when little to no effort have been applied , and faith is when a reasonably amount of effort have been applied.
