I WISH MORE BROTHERS AND SISTERS HAD THE CAPITAL, THE MEANs AND the OPPORTUNITY and 'MINDSET', TO TRAVEL THE WORLD SO THEY CAN SEE THEMSELVES AS THEY ARE SEEN BY OTHERS. And will realize like Malcolm did and I also realized when i was 32, traveling and living abroad is that; there is 'life' and happiness beyond America as a black man/women. And we as black folk have the 'right' to be happy!! And that everybody's perspective is not as warped as the American psyche's perspective is. But some how or another we have convinced ourselves that this America is 'our' country because our ancestors built it. I am in my 60's retired I.T. professional, former history teacher, and was trained by the likes (in lectures and conferences ) of Dr.Ben, Dr.John Clark, Dr.Ivan Van Sertima, Dr. Cheik Anta Diop, Dr ASA Hilliard III, Dr. Jake Carruthers, Dr. Len and Roslyn Jefferies, Dr. Naim Akbar, and all the rest. I was a ASCAC Study Group officer. I knew them all on a personal level, especially Dr. Van Sertima. We should 'always' keep in mine that; our ancestors did NOT build this nation by choice or happiness. It was done by coercion and terroristic type brutality (literally) for centuries that they had to endure!. In fact; many of them would have gladly returned to Africa – especially in the early years when the memories of Africa, their homeland, was still fresh in the heart, soul and mind, if they were given the chance. But that was all beatin out of them as we all know. Yes, I know about Africans here before Columbus, I have read all Van Sertimas' book, and I have published works on this very topic in reputable trade journals like; "Ancient American Magazine" and my work has been featured in Dr.Frank Joseph (Native American historical scholar) "THE Lost Colonies of Ancient America". by Dr. Frank Joseph. Chapter 8 in this book is almost entirely dedicated to my research based on the theories of Ivan Van Sertima. See Chapter 8. Ivan at the time did not want me to publish this work then because he was under heavy fire by scholarly Eurocentriist, but I did it anway, and glad I did.
