Trump spent 5 years trying to prove that President Barack Obama was not an American citizen. Trump has never done that to any of the other 43 presidents. that was when I knew Trump had no problem seeing black people rich and living a good life he just doesn't want black people and power because he fears what America will look like if the white man loses power. they play the game for political and legal reasons but deep in their hearts they still don't want black people completely equal to them. so even though it may appear as if he is not racist he's more of a modern-day white supremacist

If Marcus Garvey is pardoned, what does that accomplish? How does it benefit anyone? Do we need Trump to say Garvey wasn't bad or put a seal of approval on him? I sure as fuck don't. It's a symbolic gesture that achieves no practical purpose. If he does it, fine, that's nice. If he doesn't, fine, I don't take my cues from Trump or white people in general about how I revere a hero like Marcus Garvey, or any black person for that matter anyway. We already know Obama didn't, couldn't, and wouldn't do anything tangible for living black people, why the fuck would I get up in arms about him not doing a symbolic gesture for one that's been dead damn near 80 years?? I am uninterested and unbothered by this development and y'all should be too.

Pardons are symbolic and mean nothing when RIGHT NOW in the present time, thousands of Black people sit unjustly in prison for years. Don't accept crumbs, this isn't restitution.
