Well if the government wanted Malcolm dead, obviously he was more powerful than Elijah. Elijah should have told Malcolm to lead the Nation, keep it strong; Elijah could have been an emeritus type leader. Think about it, if the Panthers were not a serious threat, why were they attack and some murdered. You don’t have to murder a poot butt, your murder threats.
