The eternal spirit of Kwame Ture’s impactful presence upon raising community consciousness and global liberation awareness lives on at Sankofa Books & Video, 2714 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC on June, 29, 2016, 4:00 – 8:00 pm. On Kwame Ture’s birthday a celebration of his life and legacy will remember why he lived to always be ready for revolution. SciFax Multimedia presents this three minute video called “The Kwame Ture Collection”, which offers glimpses into our Kwame Ture medical fundraising programs produced between 1996 and 1998, as well as the final interview documented only months before his passing in 1998.
