Professor Griff sits down with DJ Vlad to speak about his role in Public Enemy. “I was the minister of information. I would gather the information and kind of funnel it and channel it to Chuck. I tried to it Flav… those are some of the things that formulated the songs,” asserts the activist. Griff details Chuck D and Flav getting a deal from Def Jam and how Rick Rubin didn’t want Flav to be a part of the group because they understand his purpose. He goes on to explain that Public Enemy was the first group to bring uzis on stage and speak on Black Power while detailing the timeline of hip hop and the Black revolutionary movement.
DAME CASSIDY LOOKN OLD AS A MF!! OOOOPS MY BAD,THAT'S GRIFF!
His hat got worst throughout the video
Professor griff & The s1ws made public enemy, u can tell Griff did a good job, really with funneling the information cause u can tell cause the message died down after Griff was kicked out. Still my favorite group of all time.
WOW… drug induced….trauma based rap music. That explains a lot.
Professor Griff's interviews are the only interviews greater than Lord Jamar's. Peace!
Preach Griff!
i been saying all a long. What we hear now and see is "When Crack babies Grow Up". In the 1980's and 1990's women and men did crack, and those crack heads had babies, and now what we see is "When Crack Babies Grow Up"………Explains the debauchery and buffoonery of Millennials
He looks like Cassidy 's grandpa lol
Public Enemy functioned like a well oiled machine.
Those last comments….oh boy…
Vlad get your shit straight. PE was not at its height '92, 93'. It was like 4 years before that.
