I OFTEN SAY, THE MAJOR PROBLEM WE’RE CONFRONTING ISN’T SO MUCH THE MISBEHAVIOR OF A SEGMENT OF OUR YOUTHS, BUT THE MISBEHAVIOR OF LAW-ABIDING, CHURCH-GOING BLACK FOLKS! Who’re too often thoughtlessly obeying the laws and rules of criminals and following the theologies of crooks and thieves. Consequently, letting them define what is “GOOD” and what is “BAD” as if they won’t define “THE GOOD” and “THE BAD” in a way that works to their advantage. Therefore, have us, then, unthinkingly following their rules and unthinkingly being “GOOD” and “BAD” according to their definition, wondering why: THE “GOODER” WE ARE, THE MORE WE SUFFER; THE MORE WE PRAY, THE POORER WE GET; THE MORE WE SING, MOURN, SHOUT AND KICK OVER BENCHES, THE MORE PAINS WE SUFFER!? There must be a problem there somewhere; apparently, you’re working to somebody else’s definition of God and Jesus because you’re obeying the rules and keeping your nose clean and still end up suffering. YES! LAW-ABIDING, CHURCH-GOING BLACK FOLKS! Who think it’s a sin to spend their money in a way that benefits African children and people.

Who think it’s virtuous to be “COLORBLIND,” exclaiming, “I don’t pay any attention to race; I don’t discriminate according to color.” REALLY!? Your problem isn’t related to your not discriminating according to color. You think that’s the source of problems in America—black people seeing color? You think your not seeing color as black folks is going to transform America? ARE YOU KIDDING!? It’s the other people seeing color that is the problem. But in typical “Negro” fashion (self-effacing and self-defeating), you’re going to make the sacrifice and bear the cross of white people’s sins. And because they’ve created the sin of degrading us because of our color, we’re going to bear the cross of not seeing color. This is the problem: YES! LAW-ABIDING, CHURCH-GOING BLACK FOLKS! People who feel guilty when they discriminate and say, “I’m going to put my dollar here because this is a black merchant” (in need of support to build and empower the community and advance the people). Yeah, you feel like you’re doing something wrong and you feel uneasy, but you gotta feel that way in order to support and maintain this racist system. You gotta feel “righteous and good” when you smile at Korean’s and other non-African vendors’ faces: little chills gotta run up your spine when they recognize you by name (OTHER-VALIDATED) as they take the money out of the community.
