I don't think this was a thing when Dr. Clark was lecturing but I heard that Ghana does allow for people of African descent to move there. I don't know what the stipulations are but I've heard of it.
We "Native Black Americans/Descendants of Slaves" (Afro Americans) are indeed a Nation within a Nation….
NOT ALL Black Anericans accept or feel "lonely." Only those "seeking acceptance and love" from some others' nations. Which, is truly sad to be said of a ppl, being presented as if they are "orphaned bastards." I RESENT THE DEPICTION.
Dr. Clarke is clearly expressing "his" yearnings" for Africa. Many of us although descendants of the African continent, OUR ROOTS ARE IN AMERICA. We will not be brainwashed or emotions psychologically manipulated into grieving/longing for a place we nolonger have roots.
