CrowdPleeza says:

Everybody check out this video. It's in response to the views of Akala
on ancient Egypt. In this video the uploader disputes the idea that the
Nubian 25th dynasty was welcomed by the Egyptians. The video also
challenges the view that invasions changed Egypt from originally Black
to non Black.

Hasan Anyabwile says:

Most critique of Diop is based on his Islamic background and his challenge of the Arab Slave Trade of Africans, calling it an exaggeration. Islam is their problem even if they have to ditch Diop. What made it even worse was his marriage to a White Woman.

Awene says:

43:08 You have, in mdw nTr, all demonstratives preceding the nouns. Anyone familiar with basic Mdw Ntr grammar knows that the demonstratives "pn/tn" and "pw/tw" always FOLLOW the noun and this is generally the case with "pf/tf" as well, i.e. it should be "pr pn," "zt tf," "aA pf," "mDAt pn." In fact, the only one you got right is the plural "nn n TAw." (see Allen, Middle Egyptian – An introduction to the language and Culture of Hieroglyphs, (Cambridge University press, 2014), 65-66.) Had you gotten this right you'd have realized that BOTH Wolof and mdw nTr (generally) place the demonstrative after the noun. The fact that you get something as basic as this wrong rings alarms. I can't trust you with what I don't understand when I know that you got the basics that I do understand wrong. Also, I can't trust anyone speaking about "Afrikan linguistics" who doesn't speak, read and write at least one Afrikan language, iha shi longo ngaho. Having said that, there is much that's interesting here but some of it is… nah! Statements like baba Diop wasn't revolutionary? Team Osiris WOULD NOT EXIST without baba Diop.

WE PRECEED SYSTEMATIC LANGUAGE

wabfunk says:

At some point, yall have to come to terms with certain positions and lingua franca for …… backed by what actual African peoples. On the continent.

JOjo arms says:

some of our ancestor scholars made errors due to the methods they had to work with and some was due to political reasons.. my first book i read before Diop was Gerald massey, my knowledge of language skills is limited but Gerald massey is the worst I've seen it's like saying the word television means 'tell lie vision'…this was a very honest approach how about this for a suggestion Martin bernal black Athena would be a good topic to cover
