I’m ready to challenge the “Hip-Hop started in Late-1970s Bronx” narrative. The Watts Prophets (from Watts, Los Angeles) 1971 album “RAPPIN BLACK IN A WHITE WORLD” is a classic and staple in Hip-Hop history, influencing the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and more!
