Jacqueline Stephen says:

The sad thing is that most of the black nation's in Africa are not even United and not trying to claim us or align with us. A lot of them look down on us. Many of the countries were very involved in selling us to the European nation's. We need to acknowledge our ancestors we also have buried in this land who we are currently connected to and try to build off the the accomplishments we have as black Americans. We need to do like every other group here and start being a politically active collective that is highly self interested. Then when we are stronger we can build bases in Africa. Because as of now we only have about 2% of the national wealth and we ain't building anything without real capital. We have to do like our ancestors did and force this government to make policies to our advantage. We have done it before but this time we have to do it better by making the policies exclusive to us and holding the government accountable for the follow through. We are citizens here too and have to begin taking our place politically as others groups do here. Not with fake symbolic actions and fake politicians. We have educate our electorate to have a solid black perspective and quit voting for Obama types. Otherwise we are doomed because Africa is not going to save us! They participated in our enslavement the whole time. They can barely help themselves from their own corrupt leaders and European meddling which I believe is a result of them selling us because it weakened them and strengthened Europeans. It would have been better for Africa to have used us to build their continent strong instead of selling us to build their enemies. How foolish of them! They picked us because we wasn't part of their tribes and groups. So no they didn't sell their own people. And now many of them are coming here and trying to take our places in colleges and corporations saying that they are African American just so they can receive some of the few benefits from the civil rights movement that our ancestors fought and some died to create for us. The same way other immigrant groups take the benefits from us. This is unacceptable! They are also taking movie roles as African Americans when we are the ones who fought for a place in Hollywood!

Mr K says:

I think the name Africa is the name of the people who live in the Sahel region, between the Sahara Desert and the Rainforest Region.

F/B/P are glotally close, and L/R are interchangeable in many African languages.

Afar
Fur
Fulani
Fulbe
Peul
Bol

The Romans didn't just go around and name people. They asked what they were called.

03:30 Check out the Sons of Ham in the Table Of Nations in Genesis

The most ridiculous argument made by the Koch brother employee (making her a colleague of Charles F. Murray), was that Kemet meant 'the black soil', not 'land of the black people'. Or that the black land couldn't possibly mean land of the blacks.

Well in Genesis, Noah has a son called Ham (=Khem), who is known for being black. So who were the sons of Ham or Khem?

Phut – Somalia or the Puntland of Somalia (*)
Cush – the Sudan
Misraim – Egypt
Canaan – Palestine and Lebanon/Phoenicia

These are the sons of Ham in Genesis. In other words, according to the 8th century BC Hebrews, or whenever the Old Testament was written, the Nile Valley and the Holy Land were the Land of the Sons of Ham, the land of the blacks.

It's in the bible. What more can I say. 🙂

(*) Some say Phut is Libya, however Libya is already covered by the sons of Misraim or Egypt – Lehabim and Casluhim (Cyrenaica).

Obsidian SeventyOne says:

Well done. I've felt that km.t being "Black lands" just felt like a reach. I view the concept of black as applied to people to be primarily European although I'd love to get your take on the Sumerians and their description of Salmet Kakkadi and whether it means "black headed" as some say.

ShakaRaSpeaks says:

Thanks for sharing. I do wish the annual videos and papers from these conferences were more accessible.

KhemLab Learning Center says:

Great comparison and very well demonstrated!
